Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery - Building Renovations

The conversion and adaptive re-use of the former Sampson Navy
(and Air Force) Base into a Memorial Veterans Cemetery. The first
phase of this project is to restore and re-purpose the original
6,000 sf firehouse building for administration offices, internment
ceremony spaces, and historic artifact displays for the cemetery.
This project involves: asbestos and lead abatement, window
replacement, roof replacement, masonry restoration and
rehabilitation, the installation of a LU/LA elevator within the
existing fire hose tower, and the complete reconfiguration of the
interior spaces.
